<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device such that a speed of zoom adjustment can be freely set by displaying an electronic zoom processed image from the start to the end of zoom operation. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device 100 includes: an imaging part 115 including an optical system and an imaging element 120; a display part 190; an optical zoom control part 180 which performs optical zoom control as control to enlarge or reduce an image formed on the imaging element 120 by varying the focal length of the optical system; and an electronic zoom processing part 132 which performs electronic zoom processing to generate the electronic zoom processed image, wherein the electronic zoom processing part 132 performs, as the electronic zoom processing, processing for enlarging or reducing the picked-up image obtained through the optical system by the image processing, or processing for setting an area to be optically enlarged as a zoom frame for the picked-up image obtained by the optical system, and the display part 190 displays the electronic zoom processed image from the start to the end of the zoom operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
