PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining propriety determination device mounting a suction tool on a high-curve fabric lens by making an optical center position as a reference, sufficiently performing an unmachining determination and achieving grinding. SOLUTION: An arithmetic control circuit determines shifting quantity correction data to machine a lens to be machined not to shift the optical center position by a camber angle of a spectacle lens (a spectacle lens frame and the spectacle lens) and a curve value of a refraction surface in relation to the optical center, when the optical center of the spectacle lens machined into a lens edge shape based on machining data is mounted on a spectacle frame F. By determining corrected shifting quantity and corrected machining data based on the shifting quantity correction data, the corrected optical center and the lens edge shape based on the corrected machining data are displayed. A center of a suction tool shape is made to coincide with a geometric center or the corrected optical center, the suction tool shape is displayed by being overlapped with the lens edge shape, and thereby whether or not the lens suction tool interferes with a grinding tool can be determined when grinding the spectacle lens.
