PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simple, highly applicable, and highly convenient means without imposing burdens on the environment or users, for freely and easily drawing, in a real world, a geometric figure that forms a closed space, and for measuring the position, state of movement, etc. of a human, a thing, etc. present within the closed space. SOLUTION: A closed space presenting and measuring apparatus 1 has a module group 3 composed of a plurality of modules 2, and the plurality of modules 2 each include infrared communication means having an infrared receptor 4 and an infrared emitter 5, a laser emitter 6, and a control device. Each of the plurality of modules 2 casts laser light in sequence toward another module 2 adjacent thereto, so as to generate a closed space having a closed planar region surrounded by the laser light, and to exchange information such as unique address signals and the like, with another module via the infrared communication means.
