PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of an interlock plate to surely suppress the occurrence of double shifts resulting from a double select condition in a shift and select shaft assembly. SOLUTION: This assembly includes a shift and select shaft 20 formed with inner levers 21, and the interlock plate 30. The interlock plate 30 includes a base part 31 extending along an axial direction, and projecting parts 32 formed on the outside surface of the base part 31. The base part 31 is provided with slit parts 31a formed with slits S. The inner lever 21 penetrates the inside of the slit S and projects from the slit S. The projecting parts 32 are formed in respective positions adjoining both sides in a select direction with respect to the slits S to achieve an interlock function.
