PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote utilization of video contents by recommending a video content highly useful for each user. SOLUTION: A recording-reservation management device for video contents includes: a recording-reservation receiving part 11 for receiving recording-reservation data regarding recording reservation of video contents; a recording-reservation storage part 21 for storing the recording-reservation data; a reference-information storage part 23 for storing reference information generated by having identification information of a first user correspond to identification information of a second user that the first user refers to recording reservation; a reference reservation part 15 for referring to recording-reservation data of the second user, stored in the recording-reservation storage part 21, on the basis of the reference information so as to set the recording-reservation data of the first user; and a reference reservation notification part 17 for outputting the recording-reservation data, set by the reference reservation part 15, to a user device of the first user.
