PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester that transfers reaped grain culms of a reaping part from a tiltable back sending conveying part by a transfer conveying apparatus and stably supplying the reaped grain culms to a threshing part positioned behind the conveying part. SOLUTION: The combine harvester includes a support plate (6) that faces the conveying end edge of the conveying part (5) by a tiltable chain mechanism for sending grain culms reaped by the reaping part (2) backwards, receives the ear tip sides of the reaped grain culms, guides and supports them at the threshing port (3a) of the threshing part (3) and a synchronizing chain (7) that similarly receives the plant foot sides of the reaped grain culms and transfers them to the feed chain (13) of the threshing part (3). In the support plate (6) and the synchronizing chain (7), the tip end sides of both are integrally and vertically movable and the rear end sides are pivotally supported in the vicinity of the threshing port (3a) of the threshing part (3). A transfer conveying apparatus for controlling inclination of the inclination angle in response to inclination of the conveying part (5) is arranged so that the tip end positions of both correspond to the conveying end edge position of the conveying part (5).
