PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist handle which suppresses an amount of projection from a sash and exhibits excellent operability. SOLUTION: The assist handle 70 includes a pair of base protrusions 73, 73 projected to the door end side from both upper and lower ends of a base part 71 mounted to a door end stile 18 of a glass door 13, and the whole base part 71 is formed into substantially C-shape. The fingers can thereby be hooked on a handle part 75 by thrusting the fingertips or joint parts of the fingers between the pair of base protrusions 73, 73, and even if the whole assist handle 70 is thinned, the hand in operating the handle part 75 does not interfere with the base part 71, that is, this assist handle 70 can be made thin as a whole to suppress the amount of projection from the glass door 13 and improved in operability.
