<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suitably discharging air inside the body of the image forming apparatus to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A vent 151 is provided on a side surface of a housing 101. An opening 111 is provided on a manual feeding tray 110. The manual feeding tray 110 can take a placing state where it is opened and a housing state where it is closed. In the housing state, the manual feeding tray 110 is arranged to face the side surface of the housing 101 on a side in which the vent 151 exists. Then, the air discharged to the outside from the inside of the housing 101 through the vent 151 by an exhaust fan 150 is discharged from the opening 111. Furthermore, in the placing state, the air inside the housing 101 is exhausted satisfactorily to the outside of the housing 101 from the vent 151 by the exhaust fan 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
