<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system, informing the case where a patient could not pick up a nurse call slave unit according to his will earlier as much as possible, while not informing the case where he could pick up the nurse call slave unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where before a predetermined time elapses from when a first predetermined acceleration or more is detected, patient's leaving his bed is detected, and after that, his going to bed is detected while a second predetermined acceleration or more is not detected, it is determined that he could not pick up the nurse call slave unit 1 and has gone to bed, although he leaves his bed to pick up it, and the determination is informed at the point of time when he has gone to bed. Further, in the case where the second predetermined acceleration or more is detected even if the predetermined time elapses after the first determined acceleration or more is detected, it is determined and informed that the nurse call slave unit 1 could not be picked up.
