ANTI-GLARE HARD COAT FILM AND POLARIZING PLATE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare hard coat film which reduces discoloration and degradation in contrast and has a high image definition and moderate anti-glare property; and to provide a polarizing plate using the anti-glare hard coat film.

SOLUTION: The anti-glare hard coat film includes a hard coat layer formed using a hard coat layer-forming material containing (A) an active energy line sensitive composition and (B) spherical organic fine particles on the surface of a transparent plastic film, the total haze value of the hard coat layer being 20% or less and the 'total haze value - internal haze' value being within a range of -10 to +1%. The polarizing plate is made by adhering the opposite side of a hard coat layer-forming surface of the anti-glare hard coat film to a polarizer.
