<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display documents of various formats on a mobile terminal such as a cellular phone in which Word or PDF documents cannot be opened. <P>SOLUTION: When a document link of an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) document provided from a web server 100 is clicked (selecting a document) in a mobile terminal 20 (step S12), the model information of the mobile terminal 20 is acquired, document data to be browsed are acquired from a document data management means, and the information is transmitted to a document conversion server (steps S21, S22). The document conversion server 200 reads conversion information managed by model based on the received model information of the mobile terminal 20, converts the document data into browsing image data optimized to the mobile terminal 20 based on the conversion information, and transmits the browsing image data to the mobile terminal 20.
