<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding/separation apparatus and a recording apparatus, which prevent the occurrence of the jamming of fed paper caused by the displacement of an upper and lower surfaces when feeding and separating an envelope as a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet feeding/separation apparatus 100 includes: a feeding mechanism 50 to feed a recording medium stacked on a sheet feeding unit; and a separation mechanism 70 having feeding members 2, 12 driven in a sheet feeding direction and separation members 1, 8, 11 driven in a direction opposite to the sheet feeding direction. Drawing members 4, 9, 73 driven in the sheet feeding direction are disposed downstream of a nip of the separation member, and where a distance between the nip of the drawing member and the nip of the separation member in the sheet feeding direction is x/2 or shorter where x denotes a minimum length of the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
