<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reactivity calcined lime for pyrolyzing PET, which has an improved recovery rate of a benzene compound, generates small amounts of residues (carbonized materials) and powdering of which is suppressed and to provide a method for producing the high-reactivity calcined lime for pyrolyzing PET. <P>SOLUTION: The high-reactivity calcined lime for pyrolyzing PET, which is used as a catalyst when PET is charged in a pyrolysis furnace to produce benzene selectively, has 4-10 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area, 0.02-0.1 cm<SP>3</SP>/g pore volume, 30-100 nm pore diameter and 400-446 ml hydrochloric acid activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
