PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rate of operation of a pinball game machine from being reduced by preventing a player from being disadvantageous condition even when the number of balls get in a symbol starting prize winning port. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes a first retained ball information value storing means 54a for storing a retained ball information value (winning determining random number etc.) in which variation display of symbol is not executed yet by setting a prescribed number as the upper limit, a second retained ball information value storing means 54b for storing the retained ball information value equal to or over the prescribed number when the retained ball information value in the first retained ball information value storing means 54a is the prescribed number, and a second retained ball information value validation deciding means 57 for deciding whether or not to validate the retained ball information value in the second retained ball information value storing means 54b. During a normal time, variation display of a symbol is executed based on only the retained ball information value in the first retained ball information value storing means 54a. When the validation is decided by the second retained ball information validation deciding means 57, variation display of a symbol is executed based on the retained ball information value in the second retained ball information value storing means 54b.
