PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicle capable of sufficiently cooling an air-cooled heat exchanger, even if a cooling fan is not increased in size. SOLUTION: This cooling device includes the air-cooled heat exchanger 30 performing cooling by passing cooling air A1 and/or A2 through a core 33, and the cooling fan 40 provided to be opposed to one surface 33r of the heat exchanger 30 to pass the cooling air A2 through the core 33. The cooling device includes a variable shroud 50 which covers a space between the surrounding of the cooling fan 40 and the surface 33r in relation to the surface 33r on a side where the cooling fan 40 is arranged in the core 33 and is opened by receiving travel wind A1 while the vehicle travels.
