PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce any pressure fluctuation of liquid, and to detect the pressure fluctuation. SOLUTION: A pressure damper 1 includes a body portion 2 having a recessed portion 4 with an opening and a communication hole 5 which is open to an inner surface of the recessed portion 4 and communicated with an external region, a flexible thin film 7 which closes the opening for reducing pressure fluctuations of fluid 6 contained in the closed recessed portion 4, and a detecting portion 10 engaged with the body portion 2 to detect the electromotive force generated by the electromagnetic induction thereby and to detect any relative positional change between the flexible thin film 7 and the body portion 2.
