<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily perform operation such as search and selection by expressing a function menu of many functions so that the user easily understands a whole image of the function menu even in a small region on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: A display control part arranges function items of a first hierarchy, which are input as menu information of the function menu, at respective six sector parts into which a circle is divided, to generate a whole function menu 51. Then an area indicated by a broken line frame a within the whole circular function menu 51 is displayed in a first hierarchy display region 16a on the display screen of a display part 16, as function menu display 40 indicating a partial function menu of the first hierarchy. When the user performs scroll operation of the function menu display 40, an area indicated by a broken line frame b is displayed as function menu display 42.
