<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bandwidth and channel notification for wide-channel wireless communication. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless communications network in which a device may simultaneously use multiple 20 MHz channels for communicating with another network device, this invention provides a way for a network controller to notify a mobile device of a combination of channels available for the mobile device in the subsequent communication relating to the mobile device, and may also provide a way to specify which of the channels are actually being used in the subsequent communications. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
