<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic lighting system that minimizes defects of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a high-throughput process of manufacturing one or more first small form factors of one or more first product-sized substrates of one or more small form factors. Active layer deposition process is performed on the first product-sized substrates. A high-throughput process of manufacturing one or more second small form factors is performed on one or more second product-sized substrates. At least one of the first product-sized substrates is encapsulated with at least one of the second product-sized substrates to form the organic lighting system. The first product-sized substrate and the second product-sized substrate have the following first predetermined form factor and the second predetermined form factor, respectively, both form factors having a size equal to or less than 30 cm×30 cm, thereby reducing defects of the organic lighting system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
