摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce any number of images having parallax, using a single imaging optical system. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a plurality of microlenses disposed in a two-dimensional shape; an imaging device formed by arranging a plurality of element groups in a two-dimensional shape, for each of the microlenses, each element group including a plurality of photoelectric transducers each for receiving light flux coming from a subject through an imaging optical system and outputting an image signal; a generation means for extracting a plurality of region image signals corresponding to a plurality of different partial regions on a pupil surface of the imaging optical system from image signals output from the plurality of photoelectric transducers included in each of the plurality of element groups, and generating a plurality of image data items corresponding to the partial regions as a plurality of point-of-view image data items of different points of view based on the region image signals; and a receiving means for receiving an operation of selecting the number of points of view.
