The tool (13) has a cylindrical hollow body opened at its ends and guided by a filter. The hollow body comprises integration elements that integrate the tool on an air-conditioning unit and comprises anchoring elements, where tab of the integration elements is located at an end of the tool. A cross section of the body corresponds to a filter section. The hollow body is conformed so as to define a curvilinear guide path for allowing guidance in rotation of the filter along the tool. The hollow body has an outlet widened with respect to the remaining portion of width of the tool. An independent claim is also included for a method for introducing a filter inside a filtering case into an air-conditioning case of a motor vehicle.
