<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a calculation formula for predicting a film thickness in a short time by an easy method and to improve the efficiency of creating a program for film formation by thermal spray and the equipment availability. <P>SOLUTION: A method for predicting a coating film thickness is provided, which includes: a first step of measuring a thermal spray film thickness at each thermal spray angle ϕ between a spray gun 1 and a workpiece W; a second step of measuring a thermal spray film thickness at each thermal spray distance d between the spray gun 1 and the workpiece W; a third step of measuring a thermal spray film thickness at each relative moving velocity v between the spray gun 1 and the workpiece W; a fourth step of measuring a thermal spray film thickness at each orientation (rotation angle of the gun) between the spray gun 1 and the workpiece W; and a fifth step of obtaining a film thickness prediction calculation formula for predicting a film thickness through multiple regression analysis based on the measurement values obtained in the steps from the first to fourth steps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
