<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress depletion of lubricants when a magnetic tape is repeatedly traveled, to suppress abrasion of the surface of the magnetic tape by a lubrication effect, and to prevent damaging of recording and reproducing characteristics caused by sticking of abrasive powders to a magnetic head surface. <P>SOLUTION: By having equipped a plurality of projections 31 in the abutment surface of a magnetic tape 6 in a tape guide 3, quantity of lubricant oozed to the surface of the magnetic tape 6 can be made a proper quantity. Thus, friction on an interface between a magnetic head 1 and the magnetic tape 6 is set to an appropriate level, and the magnetic tape 6 is smoothly transferred. Sticking of the magnetic tape 6 to the magnetic head 1 caused by oozing of many lubricants, and a friction increase on the interface between the magnetic head 1 and the magnetic tape 6 caused by depletion of lubricant oozed to the surface of a magnetic layer are prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
