<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device that achieves a user-friendly interface and the like, by acquiring sensor information, determining a hand of the user holding the portable electronic device, and changing the content of processing based on the result of the determination. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic device includes: a sensor information acquiring section 166 which acquires sensor information from a sensor; a determination section 162 which determines a hand of the user holding the portable electronic device, based on the sensor information; and a processing section 164 which changes the content of processing of the portable electronic device based on the result of the determination by the determination section 162 as to the hand of the user holding the portable electronic device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
