PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an incongruity sense or the like imparted to a user observing a screen by allowing a changeover between normal video display and display of a video for photography in proper timing.

SOLUTION: A display control apparatus making an image be displayed on a display screen, makes an observing video to be observed by the user be displayed on the display screen. The display control apparatus changes over the display on the display screen to the photographing video prepared to be photographed by an imaging apparatus from the observing display video in response to reception of photographing preparation signals from an imaging apparatus via a communication part communicating with the imaging apparatus.
