<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly register image data by detecting failure of collateral information of an image and substitutionally writing the collateral information even when the failure is present in the collateral information of the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image fetching processing part 1 fetches: medical image data photographed and reconfigured by a medical image photographing apparatus such as an X-ray CT (Computed Tomography) apparatus or an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus; medical image data stored in a medical image storage device; and medical image data recorded in a recording medium, and outputs them to a medical image database 2. The medical image database 2 confirms presence or absence of the failure of the collateral information when registering the collateral information and the image data supplied from the image fetching processing part 1. When the failure is present in the collateral information, the medical image database 2 evacuates the abnormal collateral information to another storage area, substitutionally writes contents of the original collateral information, and registers the image data and the substitutionally written collateral information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
