PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device of a power apparatus for reasonably designing the power apparatus including a container based on a characteristic of a pressure change in the container where generated arcs are used as energy sources.SOLUTION: The design support device includes: a vibration amplitude/vibration center calculator 3 for obtaining a ratio between vibration amplitude and a vibration center of each pressure characteristic in a specified period or a moment based on the pressure characteristic showing a timewise pressure change of a specified position in the container by a plurality of kinds of arcs which occur based on power in a prescribed position in the container storing the power apparatus, whose energy differs and which continue for the same time and for outputting information showing the ratio together with information showing the energy to which they correspond; and a local maximum value calculator 4 obtaining the local maximum value of the ratio to the energy based on information showing the ratio and information showing the energy.
