PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing a content of each indigestible starch (for instance, resistant starch and amylose) found in cereal starch food, and with respect to a product manufactured by the method, to provide a method for increasing a content especially of indigestible cereal food for applying to a person taking metabolic syndrome.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the product includes manufacturing a pre-product having 5-15% water content by crushing all starch-type cereal components to bring to sieved powder, regularly heating and press kneading the powder by a series of standard settings including a 30-140°C temperature and a 1-5 mPa kneading pressure on a die followed by preliminarily forming to a product shape, intermittently heating the formed pre-product under setting of a 30-70°C temperature standard. Furthermore, forming a film coat on the surface of the pre-product by adding a binder and sufficiently mixing with the pre-product followed by drying. |
