PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing stock while keeping a balance between used-game software and rental game software.SOLUTION: The system includes: a used-game software stock storage means for storing the type of game software input by a used-game software information input means connected to a server so as to extract information; a rental turnover confirmation means for measuring the number of turnovers each time rental game software information is input from a rental game software information input means; a means for calculating the type of the rental game software required and the number of the software items on the basis of the rental turnover confirmed by the rental turnover confirmation means; and a used-game software/rental game software conversion instruction means for transmitting, to a shop terminal installed in a shop, conversion instruction information for converting the used-game software of the type same as the type of the rental game software whose required number is calculated by the calculation means to the rental game software.
