PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage apparatus and a data migration system including the data storage apparatus which can appropriately protect copyrights.SOLUTION: Data to be migrated which is stored in an HDD 5 of a source navigation apparatus 2 is disabled to generate migration data (S5). The generated migration data is migrated from the source navigation apparatus 2 to an HDD 6 of a destination navigation apparatus 3 by means of a portable memory 4 (S6, S23-S25). After the data to be migrated which is stored in the HDD 5 of the source navigation apparatus 2 is deleted (S9), a deregulation code is presented at the source navigation apparatus 2 (S11). When the deregulation cod is input in a deregulation code input screen displayed at the destination navigation apparatus 3, the migration data stored in the HDD 6 of the destination navigation apparatus 3 is enabled (S30). |
