PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letterpress for printing by which a uniform film can be formed in film forming of an organic layer by a letterpress method and a method for manufacturing an organic EL element having nounevenness in light emitting brightness and an electronic device using the same.SOLUTION: The letterpress for printing includes a convex part pattern constituted by forming one or more stripe-shape convex parts long in a direction parallel to a printing direction on a base material. The stripe-shape convex parts have at least printing starting sides firstly coming into contact with the base material to be printed and printing finishing sides lastly coming into contact with the base plate to be printed. The letterpress for printing is used in a letterpress method of transferring ink fed onto the convex parts by an ink feeding means to the base material to be printed and is characterized in that the width of the stripe-shape convex parts becomes thinner from the printing starting sides to the printing finishing sides uniformly.
