PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the detection accuracy of the sheet conveying distance while suppressing the cost.SOLUTION: A sheet feed sensor includes a digital camera which outputs the video data of a sheet to be conveyed, a camera control means which enlarges the frame size of the digital camera when reducing the frame rate of the digital camera, and reduces the frame size when increasing the frame rate, and an analysis means for detecting the sheet conveying distance by analyzing the video data. |
