PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a receiving operation on a condition varying according to the kind of reference information going to be acquired.SOLUTION: In this satellite radio-controlled wrist watch, time and date are adjusted based on satellite signals including a plurality of reference signals transmitted from a satellite. This wrist watch includes: a reception circuit 31 for receiving the satellite signals; and a controller 47 for therein storing start-up conditions on a reception means for acquiring the reference information in relation to each piece of the reference information, for determining whether or not the start-up conditions stored in relation to the reference information are satisfied in the event that each piece of the reference information is acquired, and for starting the receiving operation of the satellite signals by the reception circuit 31 according to a determination result.
