PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal apparatus that can execute processing reflecting a user's intention.SOLUTION: The portable terminal apparatus includes an LCD display part 21, an operation part 11 including a plurality of keys assigned to characters, and a control part 45 for, when a plurality of keys are operated for character input, displaying the characters input by the operation and a conversion candidate corresponding to the input characters on the LCD display part 21. If a character input operation is made after text information different from the input characters and the conversion candidate corresponding to the input characters is displayed on the LCD display part 21, the control part 45 displays on the LCD display part 21 a character string extracted from the text information displayed on the LCD display part 21 as a conversion candidate corresponding to characters input by the operation. |
