PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire which is superior in kink-resistance and operability.SOLUTION: The guide wire 1 includes a first wire 2, a second wire 3, and a tubular connecting member 4 connecting them together. The connecting member 4 has a tip side expanded portion 41 and a base side expanded portion 42. The first wire 2 has a first tapered portion 21 gradually reducing the outside diameter toward the base end side at the base end, and at least part of the first tapered portion 21 is inserted into the tip side expanded portion 41. The second wire 3 has a second tapered portion 31 gradually reducing the outside diameter toward the tip side at the tip and at least part of the second tapered portion 31 is inserted into the base end side expanded portion 42. |
