PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment device which can inhibit an increase in the pressure loss of a bag filter and the deleterious change of handleability, and at the same time, can save consumption of a neutralizer by upgrading the reaction efficiency of an acid gas and the neutralizer, as well as an exhaust gas treatment method using the device.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment device includes an exhaust gas introduction part 1, a neutralizer supply part 2, a bag filter 3, a classifier 4, a grinding part 5, a neutralizer circulatory flow path Lr, and a discharge path Lo. In addition, a ground solid component (airborne ash) or a part of the ground solid component (airborne ash) is made to flow back to the bag filter 3, and further, the solid component, including the newly supplied neutralizer, which is introduced into the bag filter 3, includes 3 to 10% of the large particle diameter component with an average particle diameter of 20 to 150 μm and the rest of the small diameter particle component with an average particle diameter of not more than 20 μm. |
