PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method, which can easily measure and determine a bit error rate or another communication quality.SOLUTION: Respective transmitter units add overhead data to payload data in order to receive the payload data from associated transmission clients 1 to N and to generate corresponding set data. One or ones of channels in a system 300 can be adapted to the bit data rate of the associated payload data. Thus, the channels can be asynchronously operated, which avoids the necessity of justification within the set data. When overhead data is added to the payload data, further, a ratio of the number of payload bits to the number of overhead bits is set to be fixed to 31:1. Such a fixed ratio enables easy decoding of the set data and easy determination of a bit error rate. |
