PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver dedicated to one-segment broadcast, which automatically follows frequency change even when DII and a DDB transmitted in a weak layer are not received.SOLUTION: The reciever dedicated to one-segment broadcast includes: a tuner 2 for receiving a one-segment broadcast signal; a storage part for storing area preset data representing a channel name of a broadcast station and a frequency corresponding to the channel name for each region; and a control part for performing scan processing to generate user preset data that represents the channel name of the broadcast station and the frequency corresponding to the channel from the broadcast signal received by the tuner 2. When the area preset data are different from the user preset data, the control part corrects the area preset data by the different data to form new area preset data, and stores the new area preset data in the storage part as area preset data of a region corresponding to the present location acquired by a GPS reception part 10. |
