摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly adjust an EGR rate, boost pressure, an exhaust gas supply amount to a turbine, and the like depending on the state of an internal combustion engine capable of circulating the full amount of exhaust gas of a specific cylinder to an intake system in a control device of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine includes: a turbine upstream passage (exhaust manifold 22) connecting exhaust gas ports of turbine drive cylinder groups (#1-#3) and an inlet of the turbine 18 of a turbocharger 16; an exhaust gas circulation passage 34 connecting an exhaust gas port of a circulation gas generation cylinder (#4) and an intake manifold 12; an exhaust gas circulation valve 36; an upstream communication passage 38 interconnecting the exhaust gas circulation passage 34 and the turbine upstream passage; an upstream communication passage open/close valve 40; a downstream communication passage 42 interconnecting the exhaust gas circulation passage 34 and a downstream-side exhaust gas passage 24 of the turbine 18; a downstream communication passage open/close valve 44; and a control means for controlling open/close of each of the exhaust gas circulation valve 36, the upstream communication passage open/close valve 40 and the downstream communication passage open/close valve 44.
