PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage device of a vending machine, for satisfactorily storing merchandise with a desired attitude while simplifying the supplementing operation of merchandise having such an outer shape that when it is placed on a horizontal plane with an attitude where it is falling sideways, its central axis inclines from the horizontal plane.SOLUTION: The merchandise storage device of the vending machine includes: a merchandise storage passage 13 demarcated between a pair of right and left base side boards 11; a merchandise guidance passage 18 which is formed on the upper face of a top tray 16 arranged between the base side boards 11 and guides merchandise input from a merchandise input port 17 to the merchandise storage passage 13; and a guidance mechanism 20 in which a guide plate 21 configured to perform display for promoting the input of the merchandise in such configurations that the thick width side end of the merchandise faces one of the right and left sides on a front face 21a, and configured to perform display for promoting the input of the merchandise in such configurations that the thick width side end of the merchandise faces the other side on a back face 21b, is arranged to be rotatable in the vicinity of the merchandise input port 17, and the guide plate 21 is configured to semi-rotate in such configurations that the front surface 21a and the back surface 21b are replaced with each other by being abutted on the input merchandise. |
