PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separation tank which has a compact and simple structure, high oil separation efficiency, and, in addition, is capable of maintaining the high oil separation efficiency.SOLUTION: A porous member 18 for rectifying the flow of water to be treated, and a divider board 12 for forming a passage way 14 of the water to be treated at the downstream side of the porous member 18 to separate oil are provided in the oil separation tank body 11 for separating the oil from the water to be treated by specific gravity difference. The porous member 18 is formed like a belt having both ends closed. Rollers 19a-19d wind the porous member 18 so that the surface of the porous member 18 facing right to the flow of the water to be treated is slanting to the flow direction of the water to be treated. A brush 20 brushes the oil and foreign matter adhered to the porous member 18 when the porous member 18 is rotated by the rollers 19a-19d. The oil brushed by the brush 20 is recovered into an oil recovery container 22, and the foreign matter brushed by the brush 20 is recovered into a foreign matter recovery container 23. |
