METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING ORGANIC MATTER-CONTAINING WASTEWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating organic matter-containing wastewater capable of efficiently treating the organic matter-containing wastewater by anaerobic biological treatment and reverse osmosis membrane treatment.SOLUTION: The organic matter-containing wastewater is subjected to anaerobic biological treatment and the treated solution obtained by the anaerobic biological treatment is subjected to membrane separation using a first membrane separation solution while the permeated water from this first membrane separation is treated using a reverse osmosis membrane. In this method for treating the organic matter-containing wastewater, the permeated water from a first membrane separation means is subjected to decarbonization treatment and the treated water is preferably subjected to ammonia stripping treatment before treated using the reverse osmosis membrane.
