摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for efficiently charging/discharging an electric storage device and a control method for selecting an efficient drive force source, in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: At charging, this control device for the hybrid vehicle determines target SOC based on the engine combustion efficiency and charging efficiency of an electric motor, and performs control to charge a large amount of charges in an efficient travel state. The control device stores efficiency during the charging at the charging. After the charging, the vehicle control device calculates the efficiency of traveling by the electric motor including the efficiency of the power of an electric storage device, compares it with the combustion efficiency of an engine, and selects, as the drive force source, one of the electric motor and the engine which has higher efficiency.
