PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of performing prompt and accurate position control.SOLUTION: When a deviation between the target position of the lens unit 5 stored in a flash ROM 11 and the present position of the lens unit 5 by an encoder 10 is equal to or larger than a fixed value, the controller 2 performs drive of the drive motor 6 by feedforward control until the present position matches the target position, and performs drive control of the drive motor 6 with a unit of the smallest controllable moving amount based on the deviation between a drive stop position by the feedforward control and the target position. |
