PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission line capable of reducing a signal loss.SOLUTION: The signal transmission line includes: a dielectric substrate 2 having a first surface and a second surface which is at an opposite side to the first surface; a conductor layer 10 provided between the first surface and the second surface and having a ground potential; a first transmission line 4 having a first signal conductor 18, which is capacitively coupled with the conductor layer 10, on the first surface; a second transmission line 6 provided on the second surface; via wiring 8 that passes through the dielectric substrate 2 and connects the first signal conductor 18 of the first transmission line 4 and the second transmission line 6; and an opening 12 which is provided in the conductor layer 10 and in which the via wiring 8 is located and a distance between the conductor layer 10 and the via wiring in a direction in which the first signal conductor 18 of the first transmission line 4 extends is smaller than a distance between the conductor layer 10 and the via wiring 8 in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the first signal conductor 18 of the first transmission line 4 extends. |
