PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Buddhist altar capable of housing a door inside with a good appearance and facilitating maintenance without reducing a storage volume, while a structure is complicated, the storage volume is reduced and the maintenance is troublesome in a conventional Buddhist altar having a mechanism capable of housing a door.SOLUTION: The Buddhist altar includes: a box-shaped body whose front surface is opened; double doors for covering the opening when closed and housed in the body when opened; and a slide mechanism for freely slidably connecting the body and the doors. The slide mechanism includes a rail member fixed to the side plate inner surface part of the body and a slide member to be slid and moved on the rail member. The hinge part of a slide hinge is attached to the base part side inner surface of the door and a washer part is attached to the slide member so that the doors are connected to the slide mechanism. On the back side of the almost center in the depth direction inside the body, a slide hinge hiding member is arranged at an interval from the side plate inner surface part so as not to interfere when the doors are slid and moved. |
