PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood cement board which can be produced even at a press pressure of ≤10 MPa and is excellent in surface designability, flexural strength and long-term durability and to provide a production method of the wood cement board.SOLUTION: The wood cement board is obtained by layering a plurality of layers each of which comprises cement, a silicic acid-containing material, a woody fiber and wood flour, wherein the cement and the silicic acid-containing material are contained at a mass ratio of 3:7 to 7:3, the wood flour has the size of 0.3-1.5 mm and is covered with calcium, the content of the woody fiber and the wood flour is ≤9 mass% of the total solid content of the wood cement board. The wood cement board has a rugged pattern on the surface thereof. The production method of the wood cement board comprises the steps of: covering the wood flour with calcium by mixing the wood flour of 0.3-1.5 mm size with a cement composition, or cement or the water obtained by dehydrating slurry and agitating an obtained mixture in the water of predetermined solid concentration; preparing the slurry; producing a laminated mat; and pressing the produced mat at a press pressure of ≤10 MPa to form the rugged pattern and aging the pressed mat having the rugged pattern. |
