PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when an information processor fails, it is required to move encrypted failure log information from a customer to prevent leakage of information, while it is difficult to prepare a method of setting an encryption key and a method of moving the encrypted failure log information and the encryption key, independently.SOLUTION: The information processor includes a storage means for storing log information when a failure occurs. The method of preventing leakage of log information in the information processor includes: attaching device identification information of the information processor to the information processor as a label and storing it in a nonvolatile memory; encrypting the log information stored in the storage means with the device identification information stored in the nonvolatile memory as the encryption key when the failure occurs; transmitting the encrypted log information to a cause analysis department via a first route; and transmitting the device identification information attached as the label to the cause analysis department via a second route different from the first route. |
