<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus capable of sufficiently removing a residual potential on an image carrier without arranging a new discharge light source other than a neutralization light source arranged between a first transferring position and a cleaning device, and setting a high transfer current. <P>SOLUTION: A neutralization light source is placed between a first transferring position and a cleaning device, and serves concurrently as a pre-transferring neutralization light source of an image-forming unit adjacent in a rotational direction of a second transferring belt. Therefore, a residual potential on an image carrier is neutralized sufficiently without arranging a new neutralization light source other than the neutralization light source arranged between the first transferring position and the cleaning device, and setting a high transfer current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
