<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and easily perform bounce photography. <P>SOLUTION: A control method of a flash device used for photographing with an imaging device and capable of changing an emission angle comprises: a photometric process S105 in which photometry is performed at each emission angle by photometry means while flash light is respectively irradiated from the flash device at multiple emission angles; a storage process S105-S108 for storing an emission angle obtaining the maximum photometry value among a plurality of photometry values obtained by storage means except the photometry values having values within a predetermined range; and a setting process 109 in which the flash device is set to the stored emission angle by setting means, wherein the difference between the photometry values having values within the predetermined range and photometry values obtained when an emission angle of the flash device is almost parallel to an optical axis of photographic lens is within a predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
